We’re proud to release a new app today for your listening pleasure: Interlude. And listen is all you need to do. You see, Interlude tells you useful information between your music tracks, so you can listen to your tunes on the go and enjoy your walk, run or drive without having to stop and fiddle around with your device! Interlude waits for the spaces between your iPod songs and then pipes up to tell you the information you want to hear. It’s the perfect app for anyone who listens to audio while walking, jogging, driving, or working in other apps.

The best way to experience Interlude is just to download it and give it a go, because Interlude is free! It has some classy ads on the setup screen, but there’s an in-app purchase to turn this off if you like.

This is a shiny new version 1.0 app. So undoubtedly there’s lots of cool things it could do, but it doesn’t do yet. So we’d love to hear your ideas and feedback on this app. Contact us on support@interludeapp.com.

As you have probably heard, last week there was a devastating earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Wunderbear Software, developers of HomeRoutines and Upsize, have banded together with other app developers from New Zealand to help the city recover, with the App Appeal project.

As a participating developer, we will be giving all our proceeds from the sale of our app between the 26th of February and the 5th of March to the New Zealand Red Cross.  Buy any of the apps featured at App Appeal and support the victims of #eqnz

HomeRoutines 1.8 is now available on the iPad!

At the same time, we’ve updated the release of Upsize for iPhone 4 and iPod Touch (4th Gen) to 1.0.1. This adds a new landscape orientation mode which just shows information on the currently playing track, and no longer pauses music playback when a TV is plugged in.

You will require:
☆ An iPhone 4 or an iPod touch (4th Generation) running iOS 4.1 (iPad version coming soon).
☆ An Apple Component AV Cable or an Apple Composite AV Cable to connect your iPhone or iPod Touch to your TV.
☆ Alternatively, Upsize also works great with the Apple VGA adaptor to connect to a monitor or a projector, using an audio cable from the headphone socket.

HomeRoutines 1.7 was released to the App Store yesterday, and we are very happy with its new features:

• Partial stars on the home screen reflect the tasks completed within a routine
• Email any list, including Accomplishments
• Paste in lists
• 4.0 compatibility
• New app icon

• 4.0 compatibility (including the timer going off even if you’re not running the app)
• gold stars on the home screen fill progressively in as you complete your routines
• tweak to the zone calendar in cases where the first days of the month are on a weekend

After this update is done we’ll be focusing on the iPad version!
